Der Tennisspieler Jordan soll sich an einem paradiesischen Ort endlich von seiner Schulterverletzung erholen, damit seine Karriere nicht gefährdet wird. Dabei soll ihm die engagierte Physiotherapeutin Elli helfen. Der mürrische Sportler und seinen Launen machen es Elli allerdings nicht leicht. Sie ist schnell kurz davor, Jordan einfach sich und seinem Elend zu überlassen. Einen letzten Anlauf, auf den sich Jordan zähneknirschend einlässt, unternimmt die ehrgeizige Therapeutin aber doch noch. Je näher sich die beiden kennenlernen, desto mehr erkennt Jordan, dass Ellie genau diejenige ist, die er in seinem Leben haben möchte, und hofft, dass Ellie genauso empfindet.
