Episode 1: There Are Places I Remember (1940-1958) is dedicated to the childhood and school period of the future musicians' lives, the realities of the war and post-war society of that time, the social atmosphere of provincial Britain of those years. This period ends with Polo McCartney's acquaintance in 1957 with the young rebel John Lennon (then the leader of the Quorrymen) and, a little later, with 15-year-old George Harrison.
Episode 2: One Plus One Plus One Equals Three (1958-1960) tells how, after a long personnel turnover, a solid trinity-core of McCartney-Lennon-Harrison emerges, about their first experiments and performances.
Episode 3: Hamburg and Herr Epstein (1960-1962) covers and analyzes in great detail the dawn of the Beatles' stellar career; the beginning of their collaboration with the brilliant Brian Epstein and the famous seven months spent in Hamburg.
Episode 4: Beatlemania (1963-1966). The fourth episode (Beatlemania) is dedicated to Beatlemania, which engulfed the world like a forest fire.
Episode 5: Let it Be (1967 to the present day). The final, fifth episode (Love, Judgement and Let It Be) begins with the story of the Beatles' "coming of age" up until their breakup and the beginning of their eternal life in the memory of millions.
Containing a huge number of rare photos and videos, interviews and factual material, this film is an irreplaceable testimony to the brightest band that ever lit up the rock horizon.
