Viewing is recommended on specialized 3D equipment: a 3D Blu-ray player (PS3) and a 3D TV. However, it can also be viewed on any 2D equipment, or in 3D with standard glasses using CyberLink PowerDVD 10 or ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre 3 and Sim3D.

In 2009, Michael Jackson was crafting a groundbreaking 3D concert experience. As a huge fan of 3D technology for decades, he was bringing the technology to the stage for the first time in history. On June 25, 2009, he passed away, his tour plans abandoned and with it, his dream of sharing a 3D concert experience with the world was shattered.In 2010, Sony released a promotional 3D Blu-ray featuring approximately 10 minutes of 3D footage badly stitched into Michael's posthumous film This Is It 3D, none of the 3D footage featured Michael performing live, much to the disappointment of fans.In 2023, JFC brings the 3D experience to the entire film, giving fans and 3D enthusiasts worldwide the opportunity to see Michael performing in 3D for the first time ever in their homes. Mixing 100 minutes of his signature conversion style with the 10 minutes of native 3D found on the 3D Blu-ray, not only will viewers get to see Michael sing his hits in 3D, but for the first time, will see JFC's conversion footage alongside natively shot footage, for the ultimate 3D experience.
