This is the German 2-Disc edition of Kinski Paganini, Klaus Kinski's directional debute, as
well as his last film.

Disc 1: Theatrical Version

Disc 2: A "versione originale", found in Kinski's home after his death

Two DVD9 completely untouched discs.

Extras include among a length of other material, a documentary-behind the scenes feature, titled
"Kinski dreht Paganini".

Languages are Italian, French, German, with English subtitles. Note though that the extras are
NOT subtitled in english.

For Kinski fans, this is a must-have. The "Kinski dreht Paganini" (Kinski directs Paganini) feature
shows his madness and equal genious, his attention to detail (i.e. how much energy he puts on getting
a scene where he goes down on a lady right), and you can really feel that he truly identified
with the musical genious that Paganini was, just as he had earlier in his career identified with
his role in Werner Herzog's Aguirre, and in Fitzcarraldo, just to mention a few...

Enjoy this truly remarkable work, wheather you find Kinski a genious or not!
