My Awareness of AI essentials for MBA students began gaining momentum around 2016-2018, when advances in machine learning and business applications started influencing core functions like marketing, finance, and operations.
It accelerated after 2019, as companies widely adopted AI for decision-making and business analytics.
The turning point came in 2022 with the release of tools like ChatGPT, which made AI accessible to non-technical professionals, including MBA students. Since then, business schools and companies have increasingly emphasized AI literacy as a core managerial skill.
