Mit Einführung der 11. Generation ihrer Core Prozessoren (Tiger Lake / Rocket Lake), hat Intel für diese und die nachfolgenden Prozessoren, die Software Guard Extensions (SGX) aus ihren Prozessoren entfernt. Die Folge ist, dass es nicht mehr möglich sein wird, mit PowerDVD Ultra HD Blurays abzuspielen.
Wenn Du noch PowerDVD 22 Ultra hast, rät Cyberlink in einem FAQ dazu, ältere Prozessoren der 7th Gen (Kaby Lake) bis 10th Gen (Comet Lake) zu verwenden und nicht auf den Patch ab Januar 2024 zu aktualisieren, damit weiterhin 4K UHD Blu-ray-Discs/ISOs/ abgespielt werden können.
Was weiterhin auch mit der neuesten PowerDVD-Version und unabhängig von der Hardware funktioniert, sind UHD-Remux-MKV.
Zudem kann man auch einfach die UHD-ISO mounten und die jeweilige MTS-Datei auch mit der neuesten PowerDVD-Version abspielen.
