Welcome to our Nuxt 3 Middleware course! My name is Ben Hong, Vue Core Team member and Nuxt Ambassador, and I'm excited to be on this journey with you.
In this course, we'll be learning about the fundamentals of middleware, exploring its various types and uses. By the end, you'll be well-equipped to handle authentication, redirection, and custom logic like a pro.
For this course, some prerequisites that may help the learning journey include
• A basic understanding of Nuxt 3
• A basic understanding of Composition API
• Familiarity with using script setup syntax in components
If you'd like to code along, make sure to get the code from the nuxt-3-middleware repo. Inside this repo, you'll find a standard Nuxt 3 project that
• Utilizes Pico.css for styling
• Has five different routes for navigation
• Leverages the useCookie composable to create a reactive reference that stores its value in a cookie
And with that, we're ready to take our first step with Nuxt 3 middleware.
