Selectively Empty Your Mac Trash.
TrashMan is a new utility that takes the stress out of emptying your Mac’s trash.
There’s only one Trash icon in your Mac’s dock, but every drive connected to your Mac actually has its own trash. The problem is, there’s no built-in way to empty the trash for just one drive.
You may be concerned that the trash on a particular drive contains an item you didn’t intend to delete. As a result, you let your trash continue to fill, afraid to empty it.
To use TrashMan:
View Your Drives: Each connected drive is listed along with the number of trashed items and the total space they occupy.
Empty Trash Selectively: Next to each drive, there’s an “Empty” button. Clicking this button will clear the trash only for that specific drive, allowing you to free up space without affecting other drives.
This selective approach helps you manage your storage more effectively, ensuring that you only delete what you need to, when you need to.
