Description
This course is made by Tallinn University, Estonia to introduce the practical use of educational robotics in preschool and early primary education. The focus is on supporting STEAM learning through hands-on activities, thoughtful learning design, and the use of digital tools. Participants will explore how robotics, H5P, and AI can be combined to create meaningful learning experiences while reflecting on classroom practice, safety, and adaptability for different age groups.Through the course, participants will:Exploring how different educational robots can be used to support STEAM learning in preschool and early primary education.Individually designing a structured learning resource or activity that integrates robotics.Developing skills to adapt activities to different ages learning needs and classroom contexts.Using H5P to create interactive content that supports learning activities.Exploring AI as a supportive tool for idea generation lesson planning and differentiation.Identifying and evaluating safety and classroom management considerations when using robots.Practicing how to plan and present a short demo activity using a robot.Reflecting on the role of robotics and digital tools as effective educational technologies.Participants gain practical skills in educational robotics designing STEAM activities with H5P and AI adapting learning safely across ages and reflecting on effective technology integration in early childhood classrooms.
For educators and anyone interested in educational robotics for preschool and early primary learners.
