Description:
My name is Ming Han, Ln. was born and grew up in Taiwan, was interested in graphic print, such as manga, comic since I had memory. With I grew up, my interest expanded from print art to media, such as movie, game, digital image.etc. My passion led me to major in art history in Southern Illinois University and in 3D animation in Academy of Art University. I also worked in related field in Microsoft and mobile game companies after I graduated. By a chance, I was invited to teach and share my 3D experience in a university in Taiwan, since then, I have started teaching role in college and and been teaching 3D animation subject in Universities based in Taiwan, USA, Thailand and China till now.Foundation of 3D multimedia and animation; basic concept of 3D model design; scene design; 3D animation techniques; sound effects; special effect; presentation format.The student is able to demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of production in media aesthetics, photography, audio, video, and film.The student is able to employ essential tools used for the collection, processing, construction, and presentation of material in aural and visual media.The student is able to negotiate working within time frames and based on a publishing deadline.The student is able to collaborate in small production teams to develop media project, when possible.Students could achieve and create 3D Animation project and they will have to be able to create short 3D animation after finish the class.There is no required text for this course. You can use the Adobe Creative Suite and equipment available in the Media Center for many of the assignments but it is not required and alternatives will be offered if a student does not have access to this software or equipment.
