Description
This class will cover the basics of the Japanese language, including greetings, colors, animals, numbers, body parts, weather, feelings, actions, and simple sentence structure and grammar. We will learn basic grammar structures and verb conjugations for state-of-being, and practice using the plain form to conjugate verbs. Each class will include a review of basic greetings, an introduction to new vocabulary, a simple grammar structure to practice newly learned vocabulary, a short Q&A to review vocabulary, and a game/song/activity to further practice what we have learned. Students will have the opportunity to interact through simple ask and answer style questions in Japanese, as well as a short conversation practice at the beginning of each class. This class is a great way to introduce your kids to this beautiful language, and no prior knowledge of Japanese is necessary to participate in this class.
