Arc System Works' long-running 2D Fighting series returns with six new protagonists and simplified gameplay in Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator. The Story mode is set up like episodic animé and finds players dealing with the aftermath of Ramlethal Valentine's declaration of war, while Training mode has been expanded to offer detailed advice. Gamers can now choose from 23 different fighters and take advantage of a control scheme based on the classic Roman Cancel move, while the new Stylish Type control scheme is designed for novices, and the online lobby and gameplay have been tweaked.
