Our course emphasizes visualizing how letters work together to create sounds. We use cartoon illustrations and simple animations to engage learners in understanding letters, words, and sounds, eventually guiding them from phonics to English literacy.Many phonics programmes do not systematically teach sight words or only include them in readers, which can make it challenging for learners to progress. Our programme addresses this issue by effectively teaching phonics decodable words and introducing sight words at the right moment for each child. We incorporate strong visual elements to help them understand and read sight words, allowing for better comprehension and a smoother learning curve.Reading skills involve more than just blending sounds from letters, like the typical CVC and CVCC patterns often highlighted in phonics courses. Since English has various spelling patterns for different sounds, we include a diverse range of common sight words, sentences, and passages in our teaching materials. These are organized systematically and in a reader-friendly way, which is crucial for building early reading skills. Our approach aligns with what is used in schools in both Hong Kong and the UK, ensuring that children are well-prepared for their reading journey.By the end of our programme, your child will be equipped with the skills to say words, read confidently, and thrive in their reading and English learning as they move into primary school.
